“Prior to being promoted to Market Manager, I served as a producing Team Manager with an average of 15 reports. In this role, I was responsible for coaching agents after gaining intimate knowledge of their strengths and weaknesses, and getting to know their "why". 

 

Once trust was established and their purpose was identified, the agent and I collaborated on goals that they ultimately set for themselves, and that I would hold them accountable for.

As a Team Manager, I have many success stories, but the one that stands out the most is the case of Ixie Weber. Ixie was a hairdresser and former business owner who had no experience in real estate. The first course of business was transitioning our relationship from client/agent, as I helped her and her husband find and purchase their home here in Carlsbad, to new hire and direct report.
