Monday Momentum: HUMILITY
Topic: Leading with Humility
In IGNITE, our mission is rooted in serving others—lifting each other up and helping every person grow into their fullest potential. And at the heart of that mission is also Fairway’s number one core value: Humility.
Humility isn’t about lowering yourself—it’s about raising others up. It’s the quiet confidence that says, “I don’t have to have all the answers; I just have to be willing to listen and learn alongside of others.”
In coaching, in leadership, and in life, humility keeps us grounded. It reminds us that every conversation is a chance to grow, every person has something to teach us, and every success is shared.
As IGNITE Coaches, humility shows up in how we:
Listen first. Listening is our most powerful tool—it’s where connection and understanding begin. There has been a theme here with “listening”! We do talk about this skillset often and building this muscle.
Serve before self. We lead by example, putting others’ growth ahead of our own agenda.
Celebrate others. We shine the light outward, recognizing effort and progress in those we coach and alongside our peers.
Stay curious. We ask questions, seek feedback, and keep learning every day.
Model gratitude. We remember that the opportunity to lead and influence others is a privilege.
This week, let’s lead with quiet strength—listening deeply, serving intentionally, and lifting others higher.
Because when humility leads, growth follows.
“Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less.” – C.S. Lewis
