Monday Momentum: KINDNESS
Topic: Kindness
"Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see." – Mark Twain
Everyone is going through “something”. As leaders and coaches, one of the most powerful choices we can make is to lead with kindness. It’s not about being “soft” or avoiding tough conversations—it’s about creating an environment where people feel valued, respected, and safe to grow. Kindness builds trust, deepens conversations, and sets the tone for how we engage with one another and with our clients.
When we focus on kindness at the start of the week, we set ourselves and our teams up for open communication, open minds and open hearts, better problem-solving, and a culture where we want to give our best.
3 ways to practice kindness this week:
Start with gratitude – Send a quick message or share a word of thanks with a teammate for something they did last week. Recognition is kindness in action.
Listen fully – In your one-on-ones or conversations today, slow down and really listen. People feel cared for when they feel heard and in turn, open their minds.
Lead with encouragement – Instead of only pointing out gaps, balance it with what’s going well and how you see potential. Encouragement fuels confidence.
Be intentional in moments of stress – When the week gets busy, pause before reacting. A calm, kind response can diffuse tension and set the tone for others.
Kindness is contagious—when you model it, others mirror it, and our clients feel it. This week, let’s commit to leading with kindness in every interaction.
