Monday Momentum: Live for the Main Characters

Topic: Live for the Main Characters

In every great movie, there’s the main storyline—the heartbeat of the film—and then there are the extras. They fill the background, create noise, and add texture, but they are not the story.

Too often, the “extras” of life crowd the frame: the distractions, the obligations that drain rather than fuel, the expectations that aren’t even yours, the unnecessary noise that pulls your attention away from what—and who—truly matters.

This week, remember:

  • You are the lead.

  • Your family, your purpose, your dreams—they’re your main cast.

  • Everything else? Background characters.

Direct your energy like a master storyteller. Decide which scenes are worth shooting and which deserve to be cut from the script. Rewrite the parts that no longer serve you. Because you hold the pen, the camera, and the calling.

Your life is not meant to be a film of obligations. It’s meant to be a story worth watching.

ACTIONS FOR THE WEEK

  1. Identify Your Main Characters.
Write down the people and priorities that truly matter. They get front-row access to your energy and time.

  2. Cut the Background Noise.
Pick one “extra” that’s been draining you—an unnecessary task, obligation, or distraction—and intentionally step back from it.

  3. Rewrite a Scene.
Choose one part of your life where you want a new narrative. What would the “main character” version of you do? Take one step toward that this week.

QUESTIONS TO REFLECT

  • What’s one area where the extras have been stealing screen time from your true story?

  • If your life were a movie trailer, what would you want the audience to feel—and are your actions aligned with that vision?

This is your story. Your spotlight. Your script.
Make every scene count.

Cheers to an incredible week ahead, producing YOUR narrative!
