Monday Momentum: Practicing Everyday Gratitude
Topic: Practicing Everyday Gratitude
Gratitude isn’t about ignoring challenges—it’s about choosing to see the light even as we hold the weight of responsibility. It is about creating gratitude in our “flow” of each day.
As leaders, parents, partners, and humans, gratitude helps us lead with grounded confidence and a softer, more open heart. It creates peace. It fuels resilience. It brings us back to what matters.
3 Action Items to Carry Into Your Week
1. Start Each Day with a 30-Second Gratitude Reset
Before opening your laptop or looking at your phone, pause and name three things you’re grateful for. They can be big—your family, your team, your health—or simple—the quiet morning light, a warm cup of coffee, or the breath that reminds you you’re here.
Let this set the tone before the world starts tugging at you.
2. Express One Meaningful Thank You
Pick one person each day—someone on your team, a friend, a family member—and send them a quick voice note or message expressing something specific they’ve done that you appreciate.
Specific gratitude turns acknowledgment into impact.
3. Capture Evening Wins (Even the Small Ones)
At the end of each day, write down one thing that went well or one moment that felt good. No matter how small.
This helps you train your mind to notice progress, calm the chaos, and close the day with peace instead of pressure.
Questions to Hold Close This Week
What moments did I almost overlook today that were actually incredible gifts?
Who showed up for me this week, and how can I show up for them?
You’re leading, loving, and serving at such a high level. Gratitude doesn’t add more to your plate—it clears space in your spirit. Let this week be a continuation of where you see the good, speak the good, and multiply the good.
You've got this.
